Ron Johnson joined the First Alert 6 news team in June of 2025. He’s a Kansas City, MO native who graduated from the University of Central Missouri with a degree in Digital Media Production in 2016.

Children’s Nebraska recently received a $5.51 million grant from the James M. Cox Foundation for the project.
